East Farmingdale House Fire 01/16/2022

On Sunday, January 16th at 4:51p, the East Farmingdale Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire on Barbara Ln. Units quickly arrived on scene to find fire on the side of the house and a Working Fire was transmitted. Engine 1-5-6 was first due and stretched the initial attack line. Upon initial searches by crews, fire was found to have extended into the attic. In total, 2 lines were stretched to extinguish the fire with the assistance of a FAS Team from Farmingdale. The fire was placed under control in approximately 20 minutes. All operations were under the direction of Chief of Department Welliver [1-5-30].
