Manorville 3rd Annual Brush Truck Competition 05/22/2016

On Sunday, May 22nd, 2016, the Manorville Fire Department hosted their 3rd Annual Brush Truck Competition at Veterans Memorial Park in Calverton. Teams competed in a head-to-head style race, testing both the speed of their Brush Trucks, the skills of their drivers and the skills of their firefighters with hoselines and saws. This year, 13 total teams raced from departments included North Sea, Southampton, Farmingville, Ridge, Yaphank, Holbrook, Patchogue, Medord, Sound Beach, and Center Moriches. After 7 total Runs, Yaphank Team 1 defeated North Sea in the final head-to-head race to make this their 2nd win in a row.
