Plainview House Fire 05/16/2022

On Monday, May 16th at 1:23a, the Plainview Fire Department was dispatched to a report of smoke from the attic on Spector Ln. 1st Assistant Chief Mayors [9502] was first on scene, finding fire in the attic and a Signal 10 was transmitted. Engine 9511 was first due and stretched the initial line to begin extinguishing the fire in the attic. 2 lines were stretched and placed into operation to extinguish the fire with the assistance of crews from Bethpage, Syosset and Hicksville. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
