Hicksville House Fire 12/30/2020

On Wednesday, December 30th at just before 2a, the Hicksville Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on George Ave. Chief of Department Lewis [9301] was quickly on scene and transmitted a Signal 10 for a fire on the second floor of the house. Engine 933 was first due and stretched the initial line to the 2nd floor of the house to attack the fire. 2 Lines were stretched with 1 placed into operation to extinguish the fire which was confined to the room of origin. The fire was placed under control in approximately 20 minutes.
