Carle Place House Fire 08/16/2021

On Monday August 16th at approximately 9:15p, the Carle Place Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Ward St. Carle Place Captain Geddish [9104] was quickly on the scene and transmitted a Signal 10 for a fire in the attached garage of the house. Westbury E9610 and Carle Place E917 quickly arrived on scene and stretched the initial line to extinguish the fire in the garage. The fire was quickly knocked down with overhaul conducted by crews on scene. With the assistance of crews from Westbury, Mineola, Garden City and Roslyn, the fire was placed under control in 15 minutes.
