Carle Place Exterior Fire 05/31/2022

On Tuesday, May 31st just after 5:30p, the Carle Place Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Jamaica Blvd. Engine 917 arrived on scene to find fire on the side of the house which was mostly extinguished by a garden hose. 1 line was stretched while crews worked to open up the side of the house to check for any extension. With the assistance of crews from Westbury, the fire was quickly placed under control with units released from the scene in approximately 45 minutes.
