Manhasset-Lakeville House Fire 12/28/2022

On Wednesday, December 28th at approximately 6:15a, the Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire on Crescent Rd. Engine 8734 was quickly on scene finding smoke from the eaves of the house and a Signal 10 was transmitted with fire in the basement & 1st floor of the house. The crew of 8734 stretched the initial line and began extinguishing the fire. With the assistance of crews from Great Neck Alert, Great Neck Vigilant, and New Hyde Park, the main body of fire was knocked down with 3 lines stretched and placed into operation. After extensive overhaul, the fire was placed under control in approximately 1 hour under the direction of Chief of Department Weisburd [8702]. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
