Williston Park Building Fire 12/08/2019

On Sunday, December 8th just after 6am, the Williston Park Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a truck fire to the rear of Bagel Express on Hillside Ave. Chief of Department Perro Jr [8600] was first to arrive on scene and confirmed a working truck fire to the rear against the building. Units quickly determined that the fire had extend to the building and a Signal 10 was transmitted. Multiple departments were requested mutual aid to extinguish the blaze which affected 2 stores in the building. 2 Tower Ladders and multiple hose lines were placed into operation to extinguish the fire.
