Port Washington House Fire 08/11/2022

On Thursday, August 11th at approximately 10:10p, the Port Washington Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire on Bayview Ave. Chief of Department Waterson [8500] along with E8513 & L8517 were quickly on scene and upon searches, found fire on the 2nd floor of the house and a Signal 10 was transmitted. At least 2 lines were stretched and placed into operation to quickly extinguish the fire which involved the flooring on the 2nd floor reportedly from Sawdust. The fire was quickly placed under control with the assistance of crews from Roslyn Highlands and Manhasset-Lakeville.
