Port Washington Apartment Fire 05/09/2018

On Wednesday, May 9th at just before 10pm, the Port Washington Fire Department responded to a reported fire in an apartment building on Boxerwood Rd. Upon arrival, heavy fire was presenting from the 2nd floor of the building and a Signal 10 was transmitted. Crews quickly arrived on scene and made entry into the apartment knocking down the fire in a wall Air Conditioning unit with slight extension to the apartment. The fire was contained to the one room and quickly placed under control.
