Port Washington House Fire 10/22/2020

On Thursday October 22nd shortly after 11am, the Port Washington Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Juniper Rd in Manorhaven. Unit 8524 was quickly on scene and transmitted “Smoke Showing” with smoke from the 2nd floor. 1st Assistant Chief Waterson arrived on scene and transmitted a Signal 10. Flower Hill Engine 855 was first due and stretched a line to the 2nd floor to extinguish the fire. The fire was placed under control in approximately 20 minutes.
