Port Washington Smoke in the House 12/05/2021

On Sunday December 5th at approximately 1:45a, the Port Washington Fire Department was dispatched to a report of smoke in the house on Greenbriar Ln in Flower Hill. Chief of Department Waterson [8500] was quickly on scene and found active fire from a gas fireplace extending into a wall. Engine 8515 was first due and stretched 1 line to extinguish the fire which was quickly knocked down. The scene was placed under control in approximately 30 minutes.
