Flower Hill Engine Company No. 1 Dedication of Engines 855 & 856 08/22/2021

On Sunday, August 22nd, the Flower Hill Hose Company No. 1 of the Port Washington Fire Department held a dedication for their 2 new Engines 855 & 856. The 2 engines were received and placed into service last year but unfortunately due to COVID, the dedication ceremony was postponed until this year. Engines 855 & 856 are both twin Spartan Gladiators replacing a 2005 KME Predator and a 2007 KME Predator. Engine 855 was dedicated in memory of Ex-Captain Olszewski, a 37 Year member who passed away in 2018 and Engine 856 was dedicated to Ex-Chief Thomas Murray, a 47 year member of the department who passed away in 2019. infant of both families and members of the Department. Congratulations to the department on the new apparatus and best of luck with them.
