Great Neck Vigilant House Fire 01/01/2020

On Wednesday, January 1st at approximately 9pm, the Great Neck Vigilant Fire Company was dispatched fo a reported House Fire in on Wilbur Dr in Great Neck Estates. 2nd Assistant Chief MacDonald [8302] was first to arrive on scene and transmitted a Signal 10 for a car fire and well involved attached garage fire. E8314 was the first due engine and stretched the initial line through the house and into the main body of fire. At least 3 lines were placed into operation to extinguish this fire. This was the first working fire of the year and the decade for both Nassau & Suffolk Counties.
