Great Neck Alert House Fire 01/24/2021

On Sunday, January 24th at approximately 6:10p, the Great Neck Alert Fire Company was dispatched to a report of smoke from the 2nd floor of the house on Devon Rd. 1st Assistant Chief Purcell [8211] was quickly on scene and transmitted a Signal 10 for a fire in the attic of a 1.5 story house. Engine 824 was first due and stretched the initial line to begin extinguishing the fire. The fire was quickly knocked down with at least 2 lines stretched.
