West Hempstead House Fire 11/18/2019

On Monday, November 18th at just before 1230am, the West Hempstead Fire Department was dispatched to a brush fire against a house. Upon arrival, units found fire on the 1st and 2nd floors of the house and a Signal 10 was transmitted. Engine 763 was first due and began to extinguish the fire in the vacant home. The fire was quickly extinguished with extensive overhaul conducted.
