West Hempstead Reported House Fire 12/21/2020

On Monday, December 21st at 10:44a, the West Hempstead Fire Department was dispatched to a report of an electrical fire in the kitchen on Colony St. Chief of Department Vogt [7600] was first on scene and confirmed a strong odor of burning in the residence. Engine 763 was first due and stretched 1 precautionary line to the front door while the source was investigated. Units were released from the scene in approximately 40 minutes with no fire located.
