West Hempstead 100th Anniversary Parade

On the Saturday, September 21st, the West Hempstead Fire Department held a parade through the town to honor the 100th Anniversary of the department. Beginning in 1919 as the Victory Chemical and Hose Company No. 1, the West Hempstead Fire Department has continued to serve the community for 100 years. Fire Departments from surrounding communities participated in the parade honoring the anniversary of the department.
