Uniondale Smoke Showing 02/09/2021

On Tuesday February 9th at 12:37a, the Uniondale Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Macon Pl. 1st Assistant Chief Martinez [7501] was quickly on the road and was advised by Firecom the caller was reporting a door on fire. Upon his arrival Asst. Chief Martinez transmitted a Signal 98 for smoke showing from the house. Ladder 754 and Engine 752 were first due and stretched the initial line to begin extinguishing the fire in the rear of the 1st floor. In total, 2 lines were stretched to extinguish the fire which was placed under control in approximately 20 minutes.
