Franklin Square & Munson House Fire 01/28/2021

On Thursday, January 28th at 10:12p, the Franklin Square & Munson FD was dispatched to a reported house fire IVO Roosevelt St. 1st Assistant Chief Gerrato 7101 was quickly on scene and transmitted a Signal 10 (working fire) for a 1st & 2nd floor fire in the rear of a house on Monroe St. Engine 711 was first due and stretched the initial line to begin extinguishing the fire. At least 3 lines were stretched and placed onto operation to extinguish the fire which was placed under control in approximately 45 minutes with the assistance of crews from Elmont, West Hempstead and New Hyde Park.
