Wantagh House Fire 05/14/2020

On Thursday May 14th at approximately 10:40a, the Wantagh Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Manchester Rd. Chief of Department Kelly [6900] quickly arrived on scene to find fire from an attached garage extending to the 2nd floor and a Signal 10 (working fire) was transmitted. Engine 694 arrived on scene and stretched the initial line to begin extinguishing the fire. At least 2 lines were stretched and placed into operation to extinguish the fire. The fire was placed under control in under an hour with extensive overhaul conducted by crews on scene.
