North Bellmore House Fire 07/06/2021

On Tuesday, July 6th at approximately 12:40p, the North Bellmore Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire on Little Neck Ave. 2nd Assistant Chief Zaharis [6502] was quicky on scene and transmitted a Signal 10 for fire from the side of the house impinging on a second structure. Engine 655 was first due and quickly began an attack on the fire. At least 3 lines were stretched to bring the fire under control. With the assistance of crews from Merrick, North Merrick, Bellmore and East Meadow, the fire was placed under control in approximately 45 minutes.
