Dedication & Wetdown of Tower Ladder 657 10/17/2021

On Sunday, October 17th, the North Bellmore Fire Department held a Dedication and Wetdown for Tower Ladder 657, a 2020 Pierce Ascendent 100’ Tower Ladder assigned to the Smithville South Hook, Ladder & Engine Company 1. The new TL657 was placed in service in September of 2020, replacing a 1999 Pierce Lance 100’ Tower Ladder. During the ceremony, the new 657 was dedicated to Ex-Chief Arthur White Jr., a 42-year member of the department who passed away in 2018. Following the dedication, the new 657 proceeded past the firehouse to be wetdown by apparatus from numerous neighboring departments. Congratulations to the Department and company on the new apparatus!
