Levittown House Fire 12/31/2021

On Friday, December 31st at 1:31a, the Levittown Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a House Fire on Hamlet Rd. Chief of Department Williams [6200] along with his Assistant Chiefs were quickly on scene with fire showing from the 2nd floor and transmitted a Signal 10 with fire showing from the 2nd floor of the house. Engine 623 was first due and stretched the initial line to begin extinguishing the fire. With the assistance of crews from Bethpage, the fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control in approximately 45 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
