Syosset House Fire 04/02/2021

On Friday, April 2nd at approximately 2:30p, the Syosset Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Hicks Ave. 1st Assistant Chief Silver [5801] was first on scene and found a confirmed fire in the ceiling of a bathroom and transmitted a Working Fire. Engine 585 was first due and stretched the initial line to extinguish the fire. The fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control in under 15 minutes with assistance of crews from Jericho and Hicksville for overhaul.
