Roslyn House Fire 12/29/2019

On Sunday, December 29th at approximately 11:20p, the Roslyn Rescue & Roslyn Highlands Fire Companies were dispatched to a report of a house fire on Candy Ln. called in by East Hills Public Safety. Highlands Lieutenant 5905 was first on scene and advised Highlands Asst Chief Laureano [5901] that he had heavy smoke from the front of the house and a Signal 10 was transmitted. Highlands E596 was first due and began the attack on the fire. At least 3 lines were stretched in order to extinguish the stubborn attic fire which rose to a 2nd Alarm before being placed under control.
