Roslyn House Fire 05/03/2020

On Sunday May 3rd at approximately 1:15am, the Roslyn Highlands & Roslyn Rescue Fire Companies were dispatched to a report of a basement fire in on Georgian Ct in East Hills. With units recently clearing from a working fire in Glen Cove, multiple units were on scene in minutes and a Signal 10 (working fire) was transmitted by Rescue Chief of Department K. Williams [5600] for a confirmed fire in the basement. Rescue Engine 566 was first due, stretched the initial line through the garage and quickly knocked down the main body of fire. In total 2 lines were stretched to extinguish the fire.
