Locust Valley House Fire 12/30/2020

On Wednesday, December 30th at approximately 12:00p, the Locust Valley Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a kitchen fire on Chester St. 2nd Assistant Chief Converse [5402] was quickly on scene and transmitted a Signal 10 for a confirmed kitchen fire. Engine 545 was first due and quickly stretched an attack line into the kitchen to knock down the main body of fire. The fire was placed under control in approximately 30 minutes with overhaul conducted by crews on scene.
