Glen Cove Building Fire 12/01/2021

On Wednesday December 1st at approximately 11p, The City of Glen Cove Fire Department was dispatched to a reported building fire at North Shore Golf Car on Glen Cove Ave. Roslyn Rescue 1st Assistant Chief Collura [5601] was in the area and advised he had a fire in the building to the rear on Chadwick St and 3rd Assistant Chief Valeo [5203] transmitted a Signal 10. Engine 525 was first due and stretched the initial line to begin extinguishing the fire on the 1st & 2nd Floors. In total 3 lines were stretched to extinguish fire with the assistance of crews from Sea Cliff, Glenwood, Locust Valley and East Norwich. The fire was placed under control in approximately 45 minutes under the direction of 2nd Assistant Chief Grella Jr. [5202].
