Glen Cove House Fire 06/09/2018

On Saturday, June 9th, at just before 11:30pm, the City of Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on September Ln. Chief Marino [5200] was quickly on the road and advised by dispatch that they were receiving multiple calls. Upon his arrival, Chief Marino confirmed heavy fire in the front of the house and a Signal 10 was transmitted. Engine 528 was first due and began the initial attack on the fire, quickly knocking down a large amount of fire from outside the house before entering the home to knock down the main body of fire. In total, 4 lines were stretched and placed into operation.
