Glen Cove Inspection Dinner 09/18/2021

On Saturday, September 18th, the Glen Cove Fire Department held their annual Inspection of Members & Apparatus at the Glen Cove Firehouse. Members were inspected on apparatus & member readiness, as well as percentage of company members present. Congratulations to Chemical Engine Company & Engine & Hose Company 4 on tying for “Best Appearing Uniforms” and Hook & Ladder on “Highest Percentage”. In addition to the usual awards, A new award for “Best Appearing Apparatus” was created this year in Honor of Oyster Bay Fire Company Ex-Chief Edwin Rahilly, a long time Inspection Judge who passed away this past January. Taking the first ever award for “Best Appearing Apparatus” was Pacific Engine & Hose Company. Congratulation to all companies on a successful inspection.
