Freeport Car vs Building 07/31/2021

On Saturday, July 31st at approximately 4:45p, the Freeport Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a car into a building at the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Park Ave. Chief of Department Sotira [2100] was quickly on the road and advised Firecom that Freeport PD had received this as a car inside of the store. Upon arrival, Chief Sotira found the vehicle into the exterior wall of the building with all occupants out of the car and the store. The crew of Rescue 2172 evaluated the damage to the building while awaiting the Building Department.
