Freeport House Fire 01/09/2021

On Saturday January 9th at approximately 9:15p, the Freeport Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on South Bayview Ave. Chief of Department Braun [2100] was quickly on scene and transmitted a Signal 10 for a single room fire on the 2nd floor of a 3-story house. Engine 213 was first due and stretched the initial line to quickly extinguish the fire which was placed under control in approximately 15 minutes with 2 lines stretched.
