Mineola Overturn vs Pole 05/12/2022

On Thursday, May 12th at approximately 4:15p, the Mineola Fire Department was dispatched to a report of an MVA with overturn into a pole on Roslyn Rd & Washington Ave. 2nd Assistant Chief Strauss, [1602] was quickly on scene along with Rescue 1610 and confirmed an overturned vehicle with a severed pole and minor damage to a building. The occupant was able to self-extricate prior to fire department arrival and was treated by Mineola VAC. All units were released from the scene in approximately 30 minutes.
