Mineola House Fire 02/24/2021

On Wednesday, February 24th at 9:50p, the Mineola Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire with people trapped on Raff Ave. 1st Assistant Chief Martone [1601] quickly arrived on scene with smoke showing from the house and a Signal 10 was transmitted. During initial searches, fire was found on the basement of the house. Engine 162 was first due and stretched the initial attack line to quickly knock down the main body of fire. Overhaul was conducted with the assistance of crews from Carle Place, Williston Park and Garden City.
