Mineola House Fire 01/02/2020

On Thursday, January 2nd just after 5p, the Mineola Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on Jefferson Ave. Units arrived on scene to find a confirmed fire in the house and a Signal 10 was transmitted. Multiple lines were stretched to place the fire under control with efforts hampered by clutter conditions. The fire was placed under control in approximately 1hr with 1 occupant transported to a local hospital.
