Garden City Park Smoke Showing 04/26/2022

On Tuesday, April 26th at approximately 4:10p, the Garden City Park Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a dryer fire at Herrill Lanes on Herricks Rd. Chief of Department Sarracco [1500] was quickly on scene and transmitted a Signal 98 with smoke showing from the side door of the building. New Hyde Park Dual Response Engine 171 and Garden City Park Ladder 151 quickly arrived on scene and located and extinguished the fire which was contained to the dryer. The scene was placed under control in approximately 30 minutes.
